The White Peaks (Gagar, Nainital)

The White Peaks is a 2-bedroom private cottage in the Himalayan hamlet of Gagar, near Ramgarh, Nainital - owned by Aparupa and Abhijit Ganguly, a Bengali couple who found their calling in the hills. The resident adopted dog Kali - described by multiple reviewers as "the cutest, cuddliest doggo" - is the first indicator that this is a home where dogs are genuinely welcomed rather than tolerated. The cottage sits at 7,500 feet, surrounded on three sides by silver oak and rhododendron forest, with a courtyard that offers 180-degree views of the snow-covered Himalayan peaks.
