The Den is where pet-friendly Corbett began. Opened in 1989 as the first resort in the Chilkiya range, it sits on the banks of the Kosi River with the Shivalik hills rising behind it - 54 cottages spread across 13 acres of reserve forest, in 11 room categories that run from treehouse machans to villas with private plunge pools. For a dog-friendly jungle stay in Jim Corbett, nothing else in the area is built around pets quite like this.

No extra pet charges, and dogs of every size are welcome. There is a dedicated pet area attached to the Premium Rooms, a pet infinity pool your dog can actually use, and a resident Golden Retriever named Chiku (6 months old, extremely friendly) who comes out to greet arriving dogs - Chiku can be moved on request if your dog needs space. This is a live wildlife corridor, so pets stay indoors after dark - non-negotiable, and the right call.
