The Setting , Kumaon Hills Near Kainchi Dham

Sol Glow is positioned in Bhowali's quieter outskirts, near the village of Sukha in Uttarakhand's Nainital district. The address places it near Pine Oak Paradise in Shyamkhet , a locality characterised by oak and pine forest, cooler temperatures, and the kind of unhurried atmosphere that makes it a genuine retreat from the plains. Bhowali itself is a small hill town known for its fruit orchards and clean air, and the area around Kainchi Dham draws visitors year-round. For pet travellers, the surrounding terrain means there are likely walking routes through forested hillside roads and lanes, though you should confirm specific off-property walking options with the hotel directly. The property has a garden on site , useful for a morning walk or letting your dog stretch after a long drive up from the plains.

Guests consistently mention beautiful mountain views and a peaceful ambiance as standout features of a stay here. The Google review summary also highlights freshly cooked food, clean and well-maintained rooms, and staff described as humble, polite, and cooperative , the kind of ground-level hospitality detail that actually matters when you're travelling with animals and need staff who are calm and accommodating.

Pet Policy , What's Confirmed

Sol Glow Hotels and Resorts is a pet-friendly stay in Uttarakhand that allows dogs and cats at no extra charge , making it one of the more straightforward pet policies you'll encounter. There are no pet fees and no breed restrictions were stated. The single condition: pets must not be aggressive. This is a reasonable ask and one that most well-socialised dogs and cats travelling with experienced pet parents will have no issue with. Whether pets are permitted inside guest rooms has not been explicitly confirmed in available sources , this is worth verifying directly with the property at the time of booking. The hotel's 24-hour front desk means someone is always available to answer questions on arrival.

For those travelling with both dogs and cats, or with multiple pets, Sol Glow is notable for not restricting to a single species , cats are explicitly mentioned alongside dogs. No weight limit or size restriction was stated in the confirmed policy, making this potentially a good fit for large dogs travelling through Uttarakhand as well as smaller breeds. Confirm specifics when booking.

Free parking is available, which matters considerably when you're arriving with a dog, crate, and the full kit that comes with travelling with pets on a road trip.
