Royal Sheps Dog Kennel (Dehradun)

Royal Sheps Dog Kennel is a well-established pet store and breeding centre located on Kaulagarh Road in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. With a 4.8-star rating across 627 Google reviews, it is one of the more consistently praised pet establishments in the city. The kennel stocks a range of dog breeds, cats, birds, and associated pet supplies, and is run by an owner named Mr. Akhil who is regularly cited in reviews for post-adoption guidance and honest dealing.

What Royal Sheps Stocks

The kennel is primarily known as a source for puppies and kittens, with Google reviewers and the AI-summarised review overview both consistently naming healthy, well-socialised puppies of various breeds as the standout offering. Dog breeds mentioned specifically across reviews include German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Shih Tzus, Dachshunds, and Pomeranians. Persian kittens are also mentioned as available. The kennel's listed services on Google include references to birds as well, making it a multi-species outlet rather than a dogs-only establishment.

Beyond live animals, Royal Sheps stocks pet food, medicines, collars, bows, and toys. Reviewers describe this as a one-stop shop for new pet owners who need to come away with supplies alongside their new animal. Whether you are picking up a puppy or simply restocking on food and accessories, the shop appears to cater to both purposes from a single visit.

What Reviewers Say About the Experience

The review volume here is significant. A 4.8-star average across more than 600 verified Google reviews is a strong signal for a pet store in a mid-sized city. The AI-summarised review overview on Google calls out four recurring themes: the variety and health of the animals, the reasonable pricing, the cleanliness of the shop, and the staff's honesty and guidance on pet care, diet, and vaccinations.

Mr. Akhil, the owner, is named directly in the summarised feedback as being knowledgeable and cooperative. Reviewers specifically highlight accurate post-adoption guidance on diet and vaccination schedules as something that distinguishes this kennel from others. For first-time pet owners in Dehradun, this kind of follow-up support is genuinely useful and not something you find at every pet shop.

Sampled individual reviews include: "I highly recommend royal sheps dogs in Dehradun for top quality puppies," "Their service and pups rates are impressive," and "This shop has a great selection of premium products and very reasonable prices." These are short but directionally consistent with the broader summary.

Home Delivery and At-Home Vet Visits

One detail that sets Royal Sheps apart from a standard walk-in pet store is the home service offering. According to the Google business profile, the kennel facilitates home-delivery options and on-site assistance, including arranging at-home vet visits for vaccinations. For families who have just brought a new puppy home and are not yet comfortable navigating a vet clinic with an unvaccinated animal, this is a practically useful service. Whether this is available across all of Dehradun or only within a specific radius is not confirmed in the available sources, so contact the kennel directly to check coverage.
