Gurugram Resort Mussoorie (Mussoorie)

Gurugram Resort sits in the quieter Bhatta Gaon pocket of Barlow Ganj, about 2.7 km from Mussoorie's main drag - far enough from the mall road chaos to feel like an actual retreat, close enough to reach the hill town without a long drive. The resort accepts pets and offers family rooms, suites, and double rooms with air conditioning, private bathrooms, and free Wi-Fi throughout.

What the property offers

Rooms are well-equipped for a hill resort stay - air conditioning (useful even in Mussoorie's shoulder seasons), private bathrooms with baths and showers, work desks, TV, bathrobes, tea and coffee makers, and electric kettles. The property has a dining area on-site and a car park, which matters when you're driving up with dogs and gear. A 24-hour front desk means someone is always available if you arrive late after a long road trip from Delhi.

Travelling here with your dog

The Bhatta Gaon location gives you quieter roads and less tourist foot traffic compared to staying right on Mussoorie's Mall Road - a real advantage when walking dogs who find busy hill-station crowds stressful. The surrounding area has open terrain suitable for morning walks. Gun Hill Point is about 7 km away, and Camel's Back Road - one of the more dog-walkable stretches near Mussoorie - is approximately 7 km from the property. Plan your walks for early morning before the day-tripper traffic builds up on the approach roads.

Getting there

The resort is on Mussoorie Road in Bhatta Gaon, Barlow Ganj - reachable by car from Dehradun (44 km from Dehradun Airport). The hill roads leading up from Dehradun are winding; if your dog is prone to car sickness, keep the drive unhurried and plan a break at the foothills. On-site parking means you won't need to leave your vehicle unattended on narrow roadside spots with your dog inside. Check-in is from 12:00 noon and check-out by 11:00 am - factor this into your travel day if you're driving up from Delhi overnight.
