What the Store Stocks

Based on Justdial listings and Google Maps photos, Global Pet World carries a range of dry pet food bags stacked floor to ceiling, smaller packaged treats, accessories, toys, and cages or habitat equipment visible in store photos. The product photos on Justdial include a dedicated section with 60 product images, confirming significant inventory depth for a neighbourhood store. Birds and small pets are also sold from the store, as photos show birds on display.

The store has been in business for 11 years according to its Justdial profile, which suggests a stable, established retail operation rather than a pop-up or newer outlet. Reviewers on Justdial have tagged it as "centrally located" in 11 separate suggestions, which is consistent with its EC Road address in the Dalanwala area, a well-connected part of Dehradun city.

Location and Access

The store sits inside the Rawal Nursing Home Compound on EC Road, which is a key arterial road in central Dehradun. The Dalanwala neighbourhood is one of the older, more established parts of the city and is relatively easy to reach from most parts of central Dehradun. Finding a reliable pet supply shop in this part of Uttarakhand can be genuinely useful for travellers staying in the city or those en route to hill destinations like Mussoorie, Chakrata, or Lansdowne who need to stock up before heading into areas with fewer retail options.

The store's hours of 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM daily give it a longer operating window than many neighbourhood pet shops, which is useful if you arrive in Dehradun in the evening after a long drive.

Practical Notes for Pet Travellers

If you are travelling with dogs through Uttarakhand and are running low on kibble, treats, or a leash, Global Pet World is one of the more established options in central Dehradun. The store is reachable by phone at 099973 66469, and the Justdial listing notes that enquiries are responded to within one hour via WhatsApp, making it possible to check stock availability before visiting. No website is currently listed for the store, so phone or WhatsApp contact is the only remote channel confirmed.

The Google Maps rating stands at 5.0 from 2 reviews, while Justdial shows 4.0 from 237 votes. The Justdial volume is more statistically meaningful and reflects a consistent positive track record over the store's 11 years of operation. The store's Justdial profile is claimed and verified, which means the business details including address, phone number, and hours are owner-confirmed.
