If you're planning a trip to Rishikesh with your dog and wondering where you can actually sit down for a proper meal without leaving your pet behind, Ganga Beach Restaurant comes up on the radar. Sitting right on the Ganga Beach stretch in Swargashram, this riverside restaurant is one of the handful of options in Rishikesh where dining with pets may genuinely be possible - making it worth a look for anyone searching for a dog friendly restaurant in Rishikesh.
🐾 For pet parents
Ganga Beach Restaurant has been reported as allowing pets with no pet charges - a welcome detail for anyone hoping to eat out with their dog in Rishikesh without paying extra. However, this pet policy is not yet verified by our team. Before you make the trip, please confirm directly with the property that pets are still welcome and that the no-charge policy continues to apply, as policies can change without notice.
Located in the Swargashram area of Rishikesh, the restaurant sits along the Ganga Beach - a stretch known for its open, breezy atmosphere and proximity to the river. For pet parents, an open riverside setting generally means more space, fresh air, and a far less stressful dining experience than an enclosed indoor room - your dog gets to take in the sounds and smells while you eat. It's the kind of spot that suits the laid-back pace of a Rishikesh trip, whether you've driven up from Delhi or are mid-way through a longer hill escape with your furry co-pilot. As one of the possible pet friendly spots in Rishikesh, it fits naturally into a day of exploring the ghats with your dog by your side.
