What Pet Parents Need to Know
The Deluxe Double Room with Extra Bed is the room type currently showing the "Includes stay for pets" tag across multiple rate plans on Booking.com, starting from around ₹2,381 per night (plus taxes). Rooms come with a balcony, pool or mountain view, ensuite bathroom, electric kettle, and free WiFi - a solid set of basics for a multi-night stay. The property offers free private on-site parking, which matters when you're travelling with a dog and carrying gear. Breakfast is optional at ₹400 per person - useful to know if your dog has an early-morning schedule that doesn't align with buffet hours.
The Grounds and Space for Dogs
The resort has a garden, balconies, and open outdoor areas including a seasonal swimming pool (adults only, fenced) and kids' play areas. For a dog, the garden and surrounding greenery are the real draw - the kind of quiet that's hard to find close to Dehradun. The property is described as surrounded by nature and away from city hustle, which reviewers back up consistently. There's also a tennis court, billiards room, and cycling available for the humans in the group. The on-site restaurant serves Chinese and Indian cuisine across all meal periods, so you won't need to drive out for food.
Location and Getting There
Forest Bliss Resort is located in Village Pasta, on Langha Road in Binhar, Vikasnagar - roughly 37 km from the Indian Military Academy and 66 km from Dehradun Airport per the property's own description. The nearest restaurants listed on Booking.com are about 17 km away, so this is genuinely a place you settle into rather than use as a base for daily errands. Kempty Falls is approximately 46 km away, making it a viable day trip if your dog is comfortable in the car. Free private parking on site means arrival with a pet-loaded vehicle is straightforward.
