What the property offers
Rooms at Tamarind Retreat are guest suites - your own space within a larger home, with a lock on the bedroom door, private outdoor sitting area, and a private entrance. The resort wraps around lush tropical gardens with an outdoor pool that guests rate highly (it's flagged as one of the few pools in the area). Complimentary breakfast buffet is included, free Wi-Fi covers the whole property, and there's a games room with pool table and carrom. Free parking on premises means you're not worrying about where to leave the car after a long drive down from Mumbai.
For pet parents specifically
The private entrance and outdoor sitting area are genuinely useful when you're travelling with a dog - you're not running through a lobby every time your dog needs a walk. The garden setting means there's open space around the property, and 159 pet-specific Google reviews suggest the staff aren't caught off guard by dogs at the door. That said, the Airbnb listing notes "Assistance animals are always allowed" alongside the pets-allowed flag, which sometimes indicates the general pet policy is more permissive than standard. Call ahead to confirm whether your specific dog (size, breed) is welcome and whether there's a pet fee.
