If you've been hunting for a genuinely green, unhurried space for a dog friendly New Delhi outing, Sunder Nursery is the kind of place that quietly delivers. Spread across heritage grounds in Nizamuddin and sitting opposite Humayun's Tomb, this restored Mughal-era park is a rare find in the capital - wide paths, open lawns, and enough room for your dog to actually breathe. It's free entry for humans, and both dogs and cats are welcome here.

🐾 For pet parents

Sunder Nursery welcomes dogs and cats, and all dog sizes are allowed - so whether you have a Lab or a Lhasa Apso, you're good to walk in. Dogs and cats are permitted on the grounds, making this one of the more inclusive pet friendly spots in New Delhi. Pet charges apply - confirm with the property before your visit so there are no surprises at the gate.

The Setting

Sunder Nursery sits along Bharat Scouts and Guides Marg in Sundar Nagar, with the grandeur of Humayun's Tomb as its backdrop - a setting that's genuinely hard to match for a morning walk with your dog in New Delhi. The park's landscaped zones, heritage pavilions, and tree-lined paths make it far more than a patch of grass; it's a structured green space where pets allowed means a proper outing, not just a quick pit stop. For anyone planning dog friendly places near Delhi or looking for a calm city escape without leaving the NCR, this is a solid addition to your list.
