Majhaun Miracle is a forest farmhouse stay tucked 200 metres past the Jaspal Rana Shooting Range on the outskirts of Dehradun - close enough to the city to be practical, far enough that the only sounds are birdlife and a small river running year-round on the property. With four room types, a swimming pool, a barbeque setup, and a restaurant on site, this is one of the more fully equipped pet-friendly nature retreats near Dehradun.

Pets are listed as allowed at Majhaun Miracle at no additional charge, confirmed across multiple OTA listings including Agoda and MakeMyTrip. In-room pet policy details have not been confirmed - contact the property directly before booking if your dog will be sleeping in the room.
The Setting
The property sits within a lush forest patch in the Majhaun village area of Galajwari, Dehradun. Large windows frame the treeline, and guests report a small river flowing all year round as a genuine highlight - one reviewer called it "the cherry on top." The surrounding trails are walkable, the air is notably clean, and the farmhouse layout gives dogs room to move without feeling hemmed in. Free onsite parking makes it easy for road-trippers arriving with gear and crates.
Facilities Worth Knowing About
Majhaun Miracle punches above its size on amenities. The property has a swimming pool, room-controlled air conditioning, power backup, a kitchenette with cutlery, barbeque facilities, a restaurant, and a caretaker on-site around the clock. Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms, breakfast is included, and a 24-hour front desk means flexible arrivals aren't a problem. Airport transfer is available on request (additional charges apply). Reviewers specifically note good food and a very peaceful atmosphere - useful to know if you're spending multiple nights.
For Pet Travellers
The forest environment and year-round river make this a genuinely good pick for dogs who need open space after a long drive. The property lists pet-friendly as a free amenity, which removes one common friction point when booking. Because in-room pet sleeping arrangements are not explicitly confirmed in available sources, it's worth a quick call to clarify before you arrive - especially if you're travelling with a larger dog. The caretaker on-site is a practical plus if your dog needs attention while you step out. That combination of forest, water, and working farmhouse infrastructure is genuinely rare this close to Dehradun city.
