Heritage Village Resort & Spa, Manesar (Gurugram)

If you're planning a pet friendly weekend getaway from Delhi, Heritage Village Resort & Spa in Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana is a resort that takes travelling with pets seriously rather than as an afterthought. It's a genuinely pet friendly resort in Gurugram that opens its doors, indoor and outdoor, to dogs, cats and other pets alike. For anyone searching for a dog friendly resort near Delhi NCR that won't turn you away at the gate, this is a name worth having on the list.

The Stay

Heritage Village Resort & Spa sits on Naharpur Road in Manesar, a stretch of Gurugram that's become a familiar city-escape route for Delhi residents looking to swap traffic for open grounds without a long drive. As a pet friendly stay in Gurugram, it welcomes dogs of all sizes along with cats and other pets, which makes it flexible for multi-pet households or families travelling with more than one animal.

This is the kind of property that suits an overnight or weekend stay rather than a quick day visit, given the resort and spa format. Its location makes it a practical option for pet friendly places near Delhi when you want a change of scene for both yourself and your pet without crossing state lines into unfamiliar territory.

Accommodation Options

Heritage Village Resort & Spa offers seven accommodation categories, so there's a meaningful choice depending on how much space you want for yourself and your pet. The entry point is the Heritage Superior, Deluxe, and Premium Rooms, each at 318 sq. ft. , compact but workable for a solo traveller or couple with one dog. If you're travelling with a larger breed or simply want more room to move around, the Aangan Suites at 528 sq. ft. are worth considering: they come with views from both the living room and bedroom, plus either a sit-out or balcony overlooking the lawns , genuinely useful when you want to step outside with your pet without going far.

The Deluxe Suites step up to 636 sq. ft. with a separate living room and capacity for up to three guests, making them a reasonable pick for families. The Haveli Suites reach 815 sq. ft., and at the top of the range sit the Heritage Villas at 830 sq. ft., which include a separate living area, an attached sit-out, and a private plunge pool. For pet parents who want the most space and the most privacy for themselves and their animals, the Heritage Villa is the obvious choice.

Dining at the Resort

The property has five distinct dining options, which is more variety than most resort stays near Delhi NCR offer. Suvarna Mahal is the main restaurant, decorated in Rajasthani-style interiors and known for its lavish buffet spreads , the kind of setting that makes a weekend feel like an actual occasion. Mama Miso covers Pan-Asian cuisine, drawing on culinary traditions from across Asia, so if you're in the mood for something beyond the buffet, there's a real alternative on-property.

For a lighter stop, Patisserie in the lobby serves teas, coffee, bakery items, pastries, and café creations , useful for an early morning before you head out with your dog or a quiet evening wind-down. The Red Lounge doubles as a bar, lounge, and discotheque, with cocktails, a food menu, and music for guests who want to extend the evening. The resort also offers private dining experiences for guests who'd prefer something more intimate than a shared restaurant setting. Worth noting: pets are not permitted in restaurant areas, so plan around this if you're travelling solo with your dog and can't leave them unattended in the room.

Weekend Activities & Recreation

This is where Heritage Village Resort & Spa genuinely earns its weekend-getaway reputation. The activity calendar is unusually varied, and for pet parents travelling with children or a larger group, it means there's plenty to fill a two-night stay without leaving the property. On the more unusual end, the resort runs RC aircraft and drone sessions with an instructor, and stargazing with a professional astronomical telescope , the kind of thing that makes a weekend feel like more than a hotel stay. Victoria carriage rides and golf-cart rides around the property are available too, both relaxed enough that you could plausibly bring a calm dog along for the experience.

For families, there's an Alpine camping experience for children, a golf clinic, and guided cocktail sessions with an in-house mixologist for guests looking to wind down after a day outdoors. The resort also offers guided yoga sessions and a family fun games programme. An activity zone covers cricket, mini golf, paintball, and target-based activities, so there's no shortage of ways to burn energy , useful context for dog owners who need to tire out their pet before settling in for the evening.

On the facilities side, the resort has an outdoor swimming pool (note: pets are not permitted in the pool, but paddle-board activities are offered for human guests), a fitness centre, a full spa, and landscaped grounds with space to walk your dog between activities. The breadth of what's on offer here is a genuine differentiator from simpler farmstay options near Gurugram , if your travel group wants more than just open fields and a quiet room, this property delivers considerably more.

Pet Policy

The pet policy here is straightforward and confirmed directly with the property. Pet charge: ₹2000/night applies, and pets of all types, dogs, cats and other pets, are allowed, with no restriction on dog size. Pets can move through both indoor and outdoor areas of the resort, though a leash or rope is required when the situation calls for it. The property also provides food and meals for pets, so you don't need to carry everything yourself. Pets are not permitted in the swimming pool or restaurant areas, and pet parents are expected to keep their animals well-behaved and follow the resort's general guidelines throughout the stay. Breed restrictions are not confirmed, so if you're travelling with a specific breed, it's worth a quick call to the property beforehand.
