If you've been hunting for a pet friendly hotel in Goa that doesn't ask you to leave your dog at home, Country Inn Tarika Goa at Varca Beach is worth a look. Sitting along the comparatively unhurried South Goa coastline in Salcette, this is a practical base for pet parents who want beach air, a proper roof over their heads, and a property that actually says yes to animals - dogs and cats both, and dogs of all sizes at that.

🐾 For pet parents

Country Inn Tarika Goa welcomes both dogs and cats, and there are no size restrictions on dogs - so whether you're travelling with a Labrador or a Lhasa Apso, you won't be turned away at check-in. Pet charges apply - confirm with the property before you book so there are no surprises on arrival. A quick call or message to the front desk will get you the current pet fee and any house rules around your furry travel companion.

The Setting

Varca is one of South Goa's calmer stretches - less footfall than the northern beaches, which tends to suit dogs and their owners rather well. Country Inn Tarika Goa sits in the Pedda Uttordoxi area of Varca, putting guests within reach of the beach without the chaos that can make travelling with pets stressful. For anyone looking at dog friendly hotels in Goa that sit outside the tourist thick of things, this location has a genuine practical appeal.
