from IGI Airport
Spread across 2 hectares in Bijwasan, right opposite the runway of Indira Gandhi International Airport, Satvik By Chhabra Farm - operating as Spara Boutique Resort - is a surprisingly green and spacious escape that welcomes dogs and cats with a proper written policy. If you're transiting through Delhi with a pet, or need a comfortable base near the airport that won't turn your dog away at the gate, this property is worth knowing about. The grounds are open, walkable, and a genuine contrast to the urban density just outside.
✓ Confirmed by the property
Spara Boutique Resort has a detailed published pet policy on their website. Dogs and cats are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee of ₹2,000 per pet, per day applies. Up to two pets per room are allowed with a combined weight limit of 35 kg. Vaccination records are required and prior notice at booking is mandatory.
What the grounds are actually like for dogs
The property sits on 2 hectares of land, and the open lawn stretching out under a big Delhi sky is the real draw for pet parents. Pets are permitted in designated outdoor spaces and on walking trails, so there's room to stretch legs after a long car ride or flight connection. Select dining areas are also pet-accessible, which means you won't have to leave your dog tied up outside while you eat. That said, the pool, spa, fitness centre, and all indoor dining venues are off-limits for pets - standard for a resort of this scale, but worth planning around.
Practical things to know before you arrive
The pet fee is ₹2,000 per pet, per day - non-refundable - so factor that into your total cost, especially for multi-night stays with two dogs. You'll need to declare your pet at the time of booking; walk-ins with pets are not the norm here. Housekeeping will only service your room when your pet is absent or securely crated, so coordinate accordingly. Signing a liability waiver at check-in is mandatory. Pet waste bags are available at the front desk but at an extra cost - bring your own to keep things simple. Leashes are required any time your pet is outside the room.
The stay itself - rooms and resort facilities
Rooms come with flat-screen TVs, minifridges, Wi-Fi, and tea and coffee making facilities; upgraded rooms and suites add sitting areas. The resort has an outdoor pool with a hot tub, an Ayurvedic spa, a gym, a cafe serving breakfast buffet with Western and North Indian options, and 24-hour room service. There's also a cozy in-house cafe for coffee and baked goods mid-day. The combination of open farmland and full hotel amenities makes this an unusual find this close to an international airport - reviewers have noted the calm atmosphere despite the runway proximity. For pet parents driving in from outside Delhi or stopping over before an early flight, the free parking and 24-hour front desk add genuine convenience.
