Aravallis - Pet-Friendly Stone Villa (Gurgaon) (Gurugram) (New Delhi)

Aravallis is the most architecturally distinctive of the three Hushstays villas near Gurgaon - built almost entirely of locally hand-carved stone, brick, and glass, drawing from Scandinavian design principles applied to an Aravalli hillside setting. Less than an hour from Gurgaon city centre, it sits on the Sohna edge of the Aravalli range with floor-to-ceiling glass walls that frame the hills beyond and a backyard garden with a natural plunge pool and heart-shaped pond.

The entire property runs on solar power (15 KVa backup system), which also runs the bedroom air conditioning. The house is fully exclusive - one group at a time - with an in-house caretaker who prepares local cuisine meals and can arrange a barbecue setup on prior request. A natural plunge pool sits in the backyard; the property also has a resident dog and other animals from the surrounding village, worth knowing before you visit with a dog that needs time to settle around other animals.

The property layout

Two bedrooms, open-plan living area with leather couches and natural light, open kitchen with mini bar, glass-walled corridor between the bedrooms. The outdoor patio is the primary eating and socialising space - breakfast, barbecue evenings, sundowners. Croquet is available on the lawn. The heart-shaped pond beyond the glass walls attracts birds, which means mornings at Aravallis are genuinely quiet in the specific way that only happens when there are birds and no traffic.

Pet policy - honest specifics

Hushstays confirms Aravallis is pet-friendly, with the note that they have their own resident animals and receive visiting dogs from surrounding villages regularly. Pets are not allowed in the plunge pool. Inform the host in advance if you're bringing a pet so they can manage any introductions with resident animals smoothly. Bring your own pet bedding.
