Finding a pet friendly resort in Karnataka where your dog or cat is genuinely welcome - not just tolerated - is still a hunt worth celebrating. River Roost Resorts in Sabarabail, Mangalore checks that box, accepting dogs and cats of all sizes, which means whether you're rolling in with a Labrador or a toy breed, you won't be turned away at the gate. For pet parents driving down the Karnataka coast, this is a practical and worthwhile stop to have on your radar.
🐾 For pet parents
River Roost Resorts is verified pet-friendly and welcomes both dogs and cats - all sizes included, so no awkward size restrictions to navigate. Pet charges apply - confirm with the property before you book so you can budget accordingly. It's always worth a quick call to also ask about specific on-site arrangements for your pet during your stay.
Situated in Sabarabail on the outskirts of Mangalore, River Roost Resorts sits in one of Karnataka's quieter, greener pockets - the kind of setting that makes a dog friendly resort in Karnataka feel like a proper escape rather than just a overnight stop. As a resort that allows dogs across all size categories, it removes one of the biggest headaches of pet-friendly travel in India: the arbitrary small-pets-only rule that catches so many large-breed owners off guard. Whether you're here for a weekend city escape from Mangalore or passing through on a longer coastal road trip, the property offers a base where your pet is part of the plan, not an afterthought.
