hotel AJMER PRIDE (Ajmer)

Hotel Ajmer Pride is a budget hotel in Ajmer, Rajasthan, positioned close to the city's railway station and the Dargah area , making it a practical stopover if you are passing through on a road trip with your dog and need a no-fuss place to rest overnight. Crucially for pet parents, the hotel confirms that pets are allowed in private rooms at no extra charge, which removes the two most common friction points when travelling with a dog in a Tier-2 city: being turned away entirely, or being hit with an unexpected pet surcharge. The property is newly constructed, with brick-and-cement rooms and a Google rating of 4.4 across 21 reviews.

The Setting

Hotel Ajmer Pride sits behind the Government Arya Putri School, in the Kavandaspura locality near Ajmer's main railway station. For pet travellers arriving by road , and a Google reviewer specifically called this out as one of the best options in Ajmer if you are coming by your own car , the central location is convenient for a quick overnight halt. Ajmer, in Rajasthan, is a significant pilgrim city and a common stop on the Jaipur–Pushkar road circuit, so having a confirmed pets-allowed stay here fills a genuine gap for dog owners driving through the region. The surrounding area is urban and dense, so expect a city-centre environment rather than open grounds or green spaces immediately outside the hotel.

Pet Policy in Detail

The confirmed pet policy is straightforward: dogs are welcome in private rooms with zero pet fee. This is a notably practical policy for a budget hotel in a city where pet-friendly accommodation is rare. What the policy does not specify , and what you should confirm directly with the hotel before arriving , is whether there is a weight or breed restriction, how many pets are permitted per room, and whether there are any designated areas outside for your dog to relieve themselves. The hotel's reception staff have been noted in reviews as responsive, so a quick call ahead should resolve these questions. No pet amenities (bowls, beds, or waste bags) have been confirmed on site.

What Reviewers Say

The majority of Google reviewers rate the hotel positively, with several 5-star reviews highlighting clean rooms and helpful staff. One reviewer noted that kitchen service can run slow, which is worth knowing if you travel with a dog that needs to be walked while you wait for meals. There is one critical review citing cleanliness concerns, which the hotel management responded to in detail , noting the property is newly built and disputing the claims. The management's written response was thorough and engaged, which is at least a signal that the property is active and responsive. As with any budget hotel in this rating band, conditions can vary; inspecting the room before you settle in is always a good practice when travelling with a pet.

What We Haven't Confirmed Yet

The following details are not yet available and are worth clarifying with the hotel directly before your visit: phone number and booking contact, whether a specific pet-friendly room type needs to be requested, breed or size restrictions (if any), availability of a nearby outdoor space for dog walks, and whether the in-house restaurant accepts dogs in a dining area. Ajmer city does have veterinary clinics, but we have not confirmed a specific nearby vet at this time. We recommend searching for the nearest vet to Ajmer Railway Station before your trip as a precaution.
