Arossim Beach (Arossim)

Arossim Beach sits on Goa's less-crowded southern shoreline, and for anyone planning a pet friendly Arossim outing, it offers something genuinely hard to find - open sand with room for your dog or cat to exist comfortably without being squeezed between sunbeds and tourists. Entry to the beach itself is free, which makes it an accessible option for families travelling with pets who want a relaxed, unhurried coastal stop.

The Setting

Arossim is one of those dog friendly Arossim spots that rewards a slower pace - the beach tends to be quieter than Goa's northern stretches, giving pets space to sniff around, paddle at the shoreline, or simply lie in the shade while you decompress. Whether you're on a long Goa road trip with your dog or just sneaking in a weekend escape from Pune or Mumbai, this beach works well as a genuinely pet-inclusive stop rather than an afterthought. Keep your dog leashed in busier patches and carry your own water - coastal sun in Goa can be intense for both pets and people.
