Throttle Shrottle is one of Gurugram's most recognisable pet-friendly cafés , a 24/7 biker-themed community space on the Gurgaon-Faridabad Road near Gwal Pahari that takes its commitment to animals seriously enough to keep an in-house chef trained to cook for dogs. Operating since 2014, it has built a loyal following among both motorcycle enthusiasts and pet parents looking for a place in Delhi NCR where their dog is genuinely welcome, not just tolerated. The open-air, workshop-style setting , think vintage bikes, automotive memorabilia, and rustic garage décor , makes it one of the few cafés in Gurugram that feels genuinely designed for outdoor life with a pet in tow.
✓ Confirmed by the property
Throttle Shrottle confirms that dogs are welcome on the property. The café has a dedicated dog menu prepared by an in-house chef , your dog can get a soup or a full meal, vegetarian or non-vegetarian, based on their preference. Birthday treats for pets are also available on request. Multiple reviewers across Tripadvisor and Google confirm this is a genuinely pet-welcoming space, not just a policy on paper.
The Setting and What to Expect
The Gurgaon outlet , referred to internally as Throttle Shrottle GFR (Gurgaon-Faridabad Road) , sits on the highway near Gwal Pahari and Golden Tulip, which means it is easily accessible from South Gurugram, Faridabad, and South Delhi. The vibe is unapologetically rough-around-the-edges: open-air seating is the dominant format, there is some indoor seating too, and the décor leans into moto-culture with skulls, leather, and vintage bike displays. Free off-street parking is confirmed on Tripadvisor, which matters when you are arriving with a dog and gear. The café is open 24 hours, seven days a week , this is genuinely rare for a pet-friendly café in Haryana, and makes it a realistic option for late-night drives or early morning rides with your dog.
The property is not a sterile, sanitised café environment. Reviewers and the LBB listing both note that you are likely to encounter resident animals , dogs, cats, birds, and ducks among them , which is worth knowing before you visit with a reactive dog. The general atmosphere is inclusive and community-oriented; Throttle Shrottle's own description calls it a space where "visitors leave their differences at the door," and that ethos appears to extend to four-legged guests as well.
The Dog Menu , What Makes This Place Stand Out
Most pet-friendly cafés in India allow dogs on their premises. Very few have a dedicated kitchen setup for them. Throttle Shrottle has an in-house chef who is specifically trained to prepare meals for dogs , a detail confirmed by LBB and multiple third-party sources. Based on your pet's dietary preference, the chef can prepare a soup or a full meal served in a bowl. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available. The café also offers birthday treats for dogs, making it a viable stop if you are celebrating your pet's birthday and want more than just a permitted presence at the table.
The wider food menu for humans covers Indian, café, fast food, and diner-style options , Masala Chai, Maggi, stuffed Parathas, omelette buns, dimsums, chilli chicken, pizza, sandwiches, and burgers are among the items mentioned across reviews. The price for two humans is approximately ₹800, though this figure comes from a third-party source (LBB) and should be confirmed directly. The café accepts credit cards and digital payments, and offers free Wi-Fi and table service.
Pet Amenities and What to Confirm Before You Visit
Beyond the dog menu, the property has historically offered a dog play area and, at times, a small dog pool for pets to socialise. These features have been mentioned in coverage of the café but have not been independently verified as currently operational , call ahead on +91 95601 90100 to confirm current availability, especially if you are driving specifically for the pool or play area. What is consistently confirmed across sources is that the outdoor setting is the primary space for dogs, the resident animal population is real and varied, and the staff is described across multiple reviews as genuinely friendly to pet-owning guests.
Throttle Shrottle has multiple outlets across India , Manali, Dehradun, Kolkata, Goa, and even Bangkok , but this listing covers the original Gurugram location on the Gurgaon-Faridabad Road. The brand describes itself as "India's no.1 moto-cultural and hot-rod lifestyle pet friendly brand," and the Gurugram outlet is where that identity is most established. For pet parents in Delhi NCR looking for a dog-friendly café that goes beyond a bowl of water and a tolerant nod from the manager, this is one of the more substantive options available.
