The Woof Wagon Pet Resort and Wellness Centre (Bhogadi)

The Woof Wagon Pet Resort and Wellness Centre sits off Badagalahundi Road in Kergalli, Bhogadi, on the outskirts of Mysuru, Karnataka , a purpose-built facility founded by two veterinarians with one clear brief: to build the kind of place they would want for their own pets. The result is a multi-service property that combines boarding kennels, a dog swimming pool, a shaded pet park, grooming, daily vet check-ups, and on-site veterinary care under a single roof. With a 4.6 rating across 291 Google reviews, it has established a consistent reputation among Mysuru pet parents who need a trusted facility for their dogs and cats.

What's on Site

Boarding at The Woof Wagon places pets in spacious, well-ventilated kennels that have both indoor and outdoor sections , not single-room cages. The facility operates 24/7 CCTV monitoring with dedicated overnight staff, and a veterinarian conducts daily check-ups on every boarding pet. Meals are freshly cooked and designed by the in-house veterinary team rather than commercial dry food. Pet parents receive daily photo updates, which is a meaningful practical detail when you're leaving an anxious dog behind for the first time.

The swimming pool is a custom-built, large-format pool filled with fresh, non-chlorinated water , designed for both therapeutic use and recreational swimming. For dogs recovering from joint issues or simply needing low-impact exercise, this is a genuinely useful facility rather than a novelty. The pet park is a spacious, fenced outdoor area shaded by mango trees , reviewers' photos confirm dogs running freely in the open space. Grooming services are available on site. The facility also offers a rentable event space for pet birthday parties and special occasions, and , notably , compassionate funeral services for families who have lost a pet.

Pet Policy and Who Can Stay

The Woof Wagon accepts both dogs and cats. Dogs may be boarded without their owner present. Cats must be transported in a suitable cage or carrier and must be accompanied by their pet parent. Dogs that display aggressive behaviour must also be accompanied by their owner. A maximum of 2 pets and 1 pet parent are permitted at the facility at one time , this is an operational capacity rule, not a breed restriction. No breed restrictions are stated on the website. The facility explicitly notes that it takes care of all types of dogs, whether friendly or ferocious, based on reviewer accounts , though aggressive dogs must have an owner present. Booking is available online via Pettle app or by calling 9741458583 / 7337647424.

What to Know Before You Visit

The Woof Wagon offers a pick-up and drop-off service, which is useful if you are travelling out of Mysuru and need your dog collected without a detour. The automated check-in process is a differentiator for a facility of this type in Karnataka , you can complete the intake digitally rather than waiting at a front desk. Hours are 9am to 5pm, seven days a week, though boarding is round-the-clock once checked in.
