Shaurya Taxi Service (Jabalpur)

If you have ever tried booking a cab in an Indian city with your dog or cat in tow, you already know the drill. Drivers cancel at the last minute, aggregator apps offer no guarantees, and you spend more time negotiating than actually travelling. In Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, that story has a refreshing exception, and we found it the honest way, by travelling in it ourselves with Apple (The Golden Retriever), our site team dog.

Shaurya Taxi Service Jabalpur is run by Surendra Patil, a calm and genuinely pet-friendly operator who has built a small but dependable taxi service in the city. What makes Surendra stand out is not just that he allows pets, it is the complete absence of the usual conditions and hesitations that pet parents run into. There are no breed restrictions here. It does not matter if you have a Labrador, a German Shepherd, a street dog you rescued, or a tiny Persian cat. Surendra does not turn anyone away based on what kind of animal you are travelling with. There is also no restriction on the number of pets you bring along, which is a genuine relief for families with more than one animal companion.

Apple (The Golden Retriever) travelled in one of Surendra's vehicles during our team's visit to Jabalpur, and we can say with full confidence that this listing carries our Tails Verified badge for real. The car was clean, the driver was relaxed around Apple (The Golden Retriever), and there was none of that nervous energy that pets pick up on immediately. Apple (The Golden Retriever) settled in without fuss, which, if you know Apple (The Golden Retriever), is usually a good sign about the humans involved.

Surendra operates both sedans and SUVs, so depending on the size of your pet or the amount of luggage you are carrying, you can choose accordingly. SUVs are particularly useful if you are travelling with a larger breed or need a bit more space for a crate or carrier. For a typical city drop within Jabalpur, fares run at around Rs 400, which is reasonable by any standard. A cleaning charge of Rs 500 per trip is applied after pet travel, and honestly, this is fair and transparent. It covers the extra cleaning the vehicle needs after an animal has been inside, and knowing it upfront means no unpleasant surprises at the end of your ride.

Beyond city limits, Surendra also takes outstation bookings, so if you are planning a longer trip from Jabalpur to another city or hill station and need a driver who will not make your pet feel like an inconvenience, this is a solid option to consider.

For pet parents in Jabalpur, or for anyone passing through the city with animals in tow, Shaurya Taxi Service is the kind of find that you bookmark, share with other pet owners, and return to every time.
