Tucked along the Calangute-Baga Road near Karma Resorts, Royal Enfield Garage Cafe is a dog-friendly cafe in Calangute, Goa, where dogs and cats can settle in beside you without any fuss or extra cost. If you are hunting for a cafe on the Baga Road where pets are welcome and you do not want to negotiate with a manager at the door, this is one you can walk into with confidence , the pet policy is confirmed, dated, and specific. It sits on one of North Goa's most travelled stretches, which means it slots naturally into almost any itinerary: post-beach, mid-ride, or as a shaded break before pushing further up the coast toward Anjuna or Vagator.
✓ Verified by the Pet Friendly Places team
Pet policy confirmed by phone on 22 September 2026, speaking directly with Indra at the property. Verification carried out by Kunal. Pets stay free with no extra charge, dogs and cats of all sizes are welcome, leash is required, and pet food is available on site.
The Setting
The Royal Enfield Garage Cafe leans into its brand identity , expect motorcycle memorabilia, an industrial-casual aesthetic, and the kind of atmosphere that does not take itself too seriously. It is the sort of place that feels comfortable in Goa rather than transplanted into it. The outdoor seating is what makes it work for pet parents: dogs do not need to be tucked under a chair or squeezed past other diners. There is room to breathe, which matters when you are travelling with a large dog or a dog that needs a moment to settle.
The location on Calangute-Baga Road means it is almost impossible to miss if you are already driving that stretch. Karma Resorts is the closest landmark. Parking along this road can be tight during peak season (November to February), so arriving on two wheels , Royal Enfield or otherwise , is genuinely the more practical choice. If you are driving, factor in a few extra minutes to find a spot.
Pet Policy , What Is Actually Confirmed
Royal Enfield Garage Cafe welcomes both dogs and cats, with no extra charge for bringing your pet. Dogs of all sizes are permitted , there is no weight limit or size restriction on record. Breed restrictions have not been mentioned, but if you are travelling with a breed that sometimes draws attention (large guardian breeds, for instance), a quick call to 093709 18155 before you arrive is a sensible precaution. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, so have one with you regardless of how well-trained your dog is.
One detail worth flagging that is less common among cafes on this road: pet food is available on site. If you are mid-ride and your dog's kibble is back at the hotel, this is a practical backup. Call ahead to confirm what is currently stocked, since café menus , pet and human , do change with season and supply.
The Food and Drink Menu
The human menu follows a cafe-and-bar format typical of Goa's mid-market spots: grilled snacks, sandwiches, and a drinks list that covers both coffee and alcohol. The cafe is reportedly open until midnight, which makes it a viable evening option rather than just a daytime pitstop. For riders doing a late return from Chapora or Anjuna, that extended opening is genuinely useful. The 4.6-star Google rating suggests the food holds up, though as always with Goa, consistency across seasons is worth checking recent reviews before a special visit.
Who This Works Best For
This cafe suits pet parents who are already moving through North Goa rather than those making a dedicated day trip to Calangute. It is an ideal stop if you are staying in Baga, Arpora, or Calangute and want a relaxed mid-day pause with your dog without the stress of figuring out whether a place will let you in. It also works well for riders , the Royal Enfield connection is not just decor, and the vibe is genuinely motorcycle-friendly. Families with dogs and cats travelling together will find it one of the few confirmed spots on this stretch that explicitly welcomes both species.
For pet parents doing a longer Goa road trip, this fits neatly between a morning at Calangute beach and an afternoon push toward the quieter northern beaches. It is not a destination in itself, but as a confirmed, no-charge, pet-welcoming stop on one of Goa's busiest tourist corridors, it earns its place on any North Goa pet travel itinerary.
