Pooch Pet Resort in Sector 62, Gurugram is a cage-free dog boarding and daycare facility built around one simple idea: dogs should have the run of the place. Located at Kila No. 19, Nangli Umarpur, it operates as a home-based resort rather than a clinical kennel - dogs get free roam of the house, sleep wherever they want, and are never left unattended. With a dedicated swimming pool, a spacious dog park, agility area, trampoline, and grooming services all on-site, this is one of the more comprehensively equipped dog facilities in the Gurugram area.
✓ Verified by the Pet Friendly Places team
We confirmed facility details via the Pooch Pet Resort website, their Petbacker profile, and Google Business listing. The cage-free policy, supervision levels, dog-to-staff ratio, and services listed here are drawn directly from those sources. Boarding starts from ₹1,200 per night. A free Talk & Greet session is offered before booking.
What the facility actually looks like
Pooch Pet Resort operates out of a house with a large outdoor area - not a commercial kennel building. Dogs get free roam of the house when unsupervised, sleep wherever they choose at night, and receive 2 walks and 3–4 potty breaks per day. The outdoor space is described as large, and the dog park is a proper sprawling area where dogs can run, not just a fenced patch. The swimming pool - called the Done Bone Pool - is a dedicated dog pool with photos showing multiple dogs using it simultaneously. A trampoline and agility training area round out the activity options. The facility accepts all dog sizes, from 1 kg toy breeds to 40 kg-plus large dogs, and caps intake at 8 dogs at one time, which keeps the environment from feeling overwhelming.
Services and how they work
The core offering is cage-free night boarding (from ₹1,200/night), but the facility also runs dog daycare, grooming, training, and swimming pool access as separate services. Daycare, grooming, and pool sessions are available Friday to Sunday, 7–10 AM and 4–8 PM - worth noting if you need weekday daycare. The free Talk & Greet session before any booking is a practical feature: it lets the team assess your dog's temperament and lets your dog get comfortable with the space before a full stay. The team lists behavioural modification experience and the ability to recognise subtle signs of stress among their qualifications - relevant if you have an anxious dog. Emergency transport is also available.
What reviewers consistently say
Across 248 Google reviews and 275 Justdial votes (4.9/5), the themes that come up repeatedly are the staff's attentiveness, the size of the facility, and how clean the space is kept. One reviewer noted the facility is "huge for dogs to play in and it's super clean too" - cleanliness being something pet parents tend to notice immediately. Another described it as their dog's "second home more than the first." The consistency across reviews from different platforms points to a facility that runs reliably, not just well on good days. The resort was founded after the owners lost their pet cat Bira in 2017 - context that tends to produce more empathetic caretakers.
