Beas Valley Setting
Matsya Manali sits in the quiet village of Palchan, just beyond the bustle of main Manali town, with views of the Himalayas and the Beas valley from the property. It is listed as pets allowed on booking platforms, making it one of the few hotels in this stretch of Himachal Pradesh that explicitly opens its doors to travelling dogs. The Solang Valley ropeway is under 3 km away, so you have genuine mountain terrain to explore once you check in.
✓ Verified by the Pet Friendly Places team
Matsya Manali is listed with a "Pets allowed" facility tag on verified booking platforms. The property has a 24-hour front desk - useful if you are arriving late with dogs after a long mountain drive. We recommend calling ahead on 01902 292 342 to confirm any breed or size restrictions before you book.
The Stay Experience
The property is a multi-storey hotel with Himalayan-style architecture set against lush green valley slopes. Rooms are described as spacious and equipped with modern amenities. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, daily housekeeping is provided, and an on-site restaurant serves meals with a focus on locally sourced ingredients - handy when you do not want to leave your dog alone to hunt for dinner in town. On-site car parking means you do not have to worry about leaving the car loaded with your dog's gear on the roadside.
Location for Dog Walks
Palchan village sits on the road toward Solang Valley, which means you have relatively low-traffic roads and open terrain accessible on foot from the property. The Shanag View Waterfall is 2.5 km away and the Solang Ropeway is 2.8 km - both reachable by car for a half-day outing with your dog. The village setting keeps things quieter than staying in central Manali, which is genuinely useful when you are managing an excitable dog in a new place. PHC Palchan, the nearest clinic, is 1.7 km away - worth knowing, though it is a human facility, not a vet.
