Furry Flyers has been operating out of Mumbai since 2008 - genuinely headquartered there, not a branch office of a company based somewhere else - with over 15,000 pets relocated to more than 150 countries by their own count, backed by over 777 Google reviews. IPATA membership and IATA qualification cover the credentialing side; what stands out more is how the contact structure is actually organised.
Rather than one general number, exports and imports route through two separate, named contacts - Anand handles exports directly, while a separate WhatsApp line covers imports into India, both during clearly stated working hours. That kind of specificity matters when you are trying to reach the right person about a time-sensitive vet certificate or a customs delay, not a general inbox.
Beyond the core relocation service
Furry Flyers also runs a dedicated pet-friendly taxi arm for Mumbai specifically - air-conditioned vehicles (Tata Winger, Innova, Tavera, Scorpio, Indica) available for airport pickups, in-city travel, or trips to other Indian cities entirely. For pet parents who need a layover stop in Mumbai before an international flight, they also partner on pet-friendly hotel and service-apartment accommodation, so a multi-leg international relocation can be arranged as one continuous handled service rather than separate pieces you coordinate yourself.
What the service covers
- Pet import into India - NOC, import permits, Animal Quarantine Certification, customs clearance, home delivery
- Pet export from India to any country - routing, flight booking, export paperwork, destination customs clearance
- IATA-specified pet crates available for purchase directly
- Pet-friendly taxi service specific to Mumbai, extending to other Indian cities
- In-transit pet-friendly accommodation for layover stays
