AirPets India has been moving pets across and out of India for close to two decades, with over 5,000 pets successfully relocated by their own count. Unlike operators who bolt pet transport onto a general logistics business, this is their core service - international relocation, domestic moves, and everything the process actually requires along the way.
A member of the International Pet and Animal Transport Association (IPATA) since 2016, and BOAS-certified - meaning specific attention to brachycephalic breeds like pugs, bulldogs, and boxers, whose flat faces make air travel genuinely riskier than for other dogs. That certification is worth knowing about specifically if you own one of these breeds, since not every relocation company flags it at all.
What the service actually covers
- International pet relocation, handled end to end
- Domestic pet relocation within India
- Pet travel compliance - navigating destination-country import rules and paperwork
- An in-house pet clinic and pet boarding, alongside the transport service itself
Where they operate
AirPets maintains a presence across Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, working with a network of partner agents at the destination end for international moves - a genuinely wide domestic footprint compared to several single-city relocation operators.
Why operating in six cities actually matters
Most relocation companies researched for this category run from a single headquarters and coordinate everything else remotely - phone calls, courier documents, hoping the destination-end logistics go smoothly without anyone local on the ground. AirPets maintains an actual presence across Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Hyderabad, which matters most in two specific situations: moving between two of these six cities directly, and needing boarding or clinic support in a specific city before an international departure rather than scrambling to find local help on your own.
If your move starts or ends outside these six cities, AirPets works through a network of partner agents at the destination end - a genuinely normal and workable model in this industry, but worth knowing the difference between their own direct presence and a partner handoff before you book.
