How the Listing Process Works

Getting listed on Pet Friendly Places is straightforward:

Step 1 - Submit your property. Go to petfriendlyplaces.in/add-place and fill in your property details including your complete pet policy. The more specific you are, the better your listing performs - "dogs welcome, no extra charge, private fenced garden, prior notice required" converts far better than "pets allowed."

Step 2 - Verification. Our team will contact you to confirm the policy. This usually means a short phone call or a review of your website. The verification step is what makes listings on our platform trusted - pet parents know we called.

Step 3 - Go live. Once verified, your listing goes live and starts appearing in search results, city hub pages, and category pages. Tails Verified and Team Verified listings appear above Listed tier listings in all search results.

Step 4 - Claim and manage. After listing, you can claim your property to take direct control of the information - update photos, respond to reports, and update your policy when it changes. Use petfriendlyplaces.in/claim-listing to start the claim process.

What the Verification Badge Means for Your Business

Listings that carry the Team Verified badge (violet tick) appear above unverified listings in all search results on the platform. Pet parents specifically look for the badge as a trust signal - they have learned to be skeptical of unverified "pet friendly" claims.

The highest tier - Tails Verified (gold stamp) - is reserved for properties the Travel With Tails founders have personally visited with their three dogs. It cannot be purchased or applied for. It is earned through an actual stay and documented in a full travel story on the platform.
