Hi! Welcome to my Farmhouse which is located on the outskirts of Jaisalmer. It’s a nice, big place with lots of flora and fauna around. My house is situated in the midst of 60 Acres of land and hence it’s the perfect place for you to relax in and soak in the nature around!

Here, you’ll not only witness the Milky Way with your naked eye (Not Kidding!), but also experience the best Rajput Hospitality!

The space
The Place:
My place is located in the midst of 60 Acres of Farmland around 10 kms East of Jaisalmer. It has multiple courtyards and huge expanse of grasslands for you to walk on. Around here you’ll find plantations of Aloe Vera, Mango etc in plenty and lots of different Flora & Fauna. My father got this place constructed around 20 years ago with only 2 rooms for the whole property, and later added on more. Today this place has turned into a Bungalow with 4 generations of our Family living together under one roof. Also, we have 7 temples around this property, each having its own historical significance with the Hanuman Temple guarding our open well for more than 1300 years!

The Room:
The rooms being shown here are well versed with modern luxury. The beds are King-size beds having “Button Spring & Latex Layering” mattresses (8 inches thick!). The sleep you’ll have here will be the best of your life. The rooms are accessible through a round staircase at the side of “Dari Khaana”. You can relax while watching the sunset on the chairs laid in the balcony next to your rooms or have a sip of “Masala Chai” along with me. The rooms have a touch of the simplicity yet are adorned with impeccable design. There is ample amount of sunlight & wind in the room which you can enjoy while sitting next to the windows which I personally designed for the rooms.

The area:
The area around my property which is called “Dabla” which was jinxed in the ancient times and is now the sole village which supplies drinking water to the whole of Jaislamer city. In the vicinity of Dabla, there is a Wood Fossil Park which has woods dating back to thousands of years and is now converted into rocks. Also, since the surrounding area is mine, you’ll get to see Organic Farming and also taste the food which I grow around here. The air is so clean here that you’ll witness the stars in all their essence at night along with a glimpse of Milky way to amaze you! Here you can sleep under the stars or be with luxury both at the same time!

-The 42” inch TVs installed in the rooms has access to DTH offering you more than 200+ channels.
-The bathrooms have access to 24 hours Hot & Cold water along with all the other modern amenities.
-The Mini-bars in the room has water bottles, beer, soda which you can consume for extra charges.
-The bedside lamps are there for your reading comfort and can be easily switched on & off.
-The Air Conditioning is powerful and can cool the rooms to desired temperature in a few minutes.
-The desk & the chair in the rooms are made of antique wood.
-There is high speed internet & WiFi which you can access from all of the rooms.
-The ceiling fans in the rooms are “One-of-its-kind” having multiple blades made of Unbreakable plastic for cooling effect in the summers and warm effect in the winters.

Proximity:
Since my place is located on the outskirts of Jaisalmer, all the access to the city’s Railway station, Airport (Non-operational) & Bus stand are all a 20 minutes drive from here. Access to this place from the train station or the bus stand will cost you between Rs. 100 to Rs. 200 (You can avail free pick up by letting me know at the time of booking). As mentioned above, there are fossil parks nearby and also the ruins of village of “Dhanwa” not far from here.

*Since I’m living on a Farm, I have 3 Dogs, a cat, 3 rabbits, free living geese, a few chicken (they’ll not trouble you!) & lots & lots of peacocks will be seen in the grasslands in front of the house.

Unique Speciality:
My place is unique for the quiet and the serene environment that surrounds it. At night, you’ll see expanse of the unpolluted sky with stars sprinkling stardust on you, and in the day, you’ll see peacocks dancing around in the vicinity. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway from your daily life, this place will recharge you and will make you come back for more.

Guest access
Guests have access to the whole house and the areas surrounding it. You are free to move around the place and be one with the nature. The only place you’re not allowed to visit is the House Temple. Consider the 60 Acres, your own backyard!
