With a focus on minimizing stress and abuse in human-animal interactions, Jeevashram runs an exceptional Veterinary Hospital for both large and small animals. They also actively engage in Animal Birth Control Programs, Vaccination and Awareness campaigns, and provide boarding and lodging facilities. Inspired by renowned international humane societies, Jeevashram aims to create a more compassionate society through exemplary veterinary care and humane education. The organization is recognized by the Animal Welfare Board of India and operates under the principles of organizations like the RSPCA-UK, WSPA-UK, and HSUS. Donations to Jeevashram are tax-exempt, and they offer a Garden of Eternal Peace for the burial of pets. By supporting Jeevashram, individuals, organizations, and institutions contribute to the cause of helping every pet find a loving home and making a significant impact on pet welfare nationwide.
Started in 1990, Jeevashram is a veterinary hospital for both large and small animals. Jeevashram’s USP is the burial grounds for pets, making it the first institute to land straight into the Limca Book of Records. This NGO focuses on minimizing stress and abuse wherever human and animal interaction is involved. They also work on the Animal Birth Control Programme with M.C.D. under the Society for Stray Canine Birth Control. They have an education programme for school kids which makes them aware of the crucial role that kids could play in preventing cruelty to animals. The NGO is visited regularly by tiny tots who play and cuddle with all the animals there.
